Patricia, a Denville New Jersey native, never revealed her winning total. What is known is that she bought into the game for $100, and anyone employing even the most moderate betting strategy would at a minimum see a return of 50 times their original stake.

After having lost on the 155th roll of the dice, the casino staff greeted her with a complimentary champagne toast. Borgata officials confirmed Patricia had broken the previous record by one hour and 12 minutes. The previous record of three hours and 6 minutes, set on the 28th of May 1989 by Honolulu resident Stanley Fujitake while playing in Las Vegas, stood unchallenged for nearly 20 years. That was before Patricia’s run of luck demolished it.

She was just a beginner

At the time Patricia admitted to feeling a little overwhelmed since this was only the second game of Craps she had ever played. By the time Patricia managed to tear herself away from the casino, an early evening had turned into a fresh new day. Despite not having much experience, Patricia hung onto the dice and Lady Luck for more than four hours. This is remarkable considering craps is the type of game where Lady Luck often dictates whether you lose a substantial amount of cash or go on a winning streak.

Craps is the type of game that none but the highest of the high-rollers can usually sustain play for more than one hour; she did it for 4 hours 18 minutes! Anyone who has, in their lives, never played the magical game of Craps should overcome this huge hole in their current online entertainment experience as soon as possible.

To find the most suitable, trustworthy, Craps casino, players would be wise to simply download the William Hill mobile app for a superlative online casino player experience. It allows the convenience of playing from anywhere, with your gaming sessions transitioning seamlessly from PC to Mac or your favourite mobile device.

In the end, both Patricia and the casino staff preferred to keep her winning amount a secret, and to never reveal her total winnings. She eventually crapped-out rolling a dastardly “7”, she, however, did reveal one of her future plans, and that was to treat herself and her grandkids by splurging out on a trip to Disney World.

Golden Arm is a term used for a craps player who has rolled dice for over one hour without losing.[1][2] The designation was created by the California Hotel and Casino in 1989 after Stanley Fujitake rolled 118 times for three hours and six minutes without sevening out.[1][2][3]

The California Hotel and Casino had lost more than $1 million Fujitake had won about $30,000. In 1999, the Platinum Arm Club was formed honoring players who roll for over 90 minutes or over an hour on at least two separate occasions.[4][5]

Between May 23–24, 2009 Patricia DeMauro of New Jersey rolled 154 times including 25 passes over a period of 4 hours and 18 minutes at the Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This remains the current record. She bested by over an hour the record held for almost 20 years – that of Fujitake.[6]
