List out the struggles you had with climbing from around this mmr to ancient and how you overcame them. I always get a team thats filled with Tilted people so I always contemplate muting them first thing.
All of these play styles aside there are a few rules to remember when Mid, and the takeaway from our DotA 2 mid lane guide: Don’t be a jerk; You are only as good as the rest of your team unless you are playing down 2 full ranks; Mid is not the most important role, but you can be, learn your place do not force it; Teamwork makes the Dream Work.
Learn to blame yourself, I climbed from legend 2 to ancient 5 last season, I have dropped this season but you need to be able to recognise your mistakes, rather than mindlessly blaming your team, otherwise you won't improve, and therefore aren't deserving of a higher mmr.
I don't understand these threads.
One thing I can tell you is that starting to flame in-game will more likely lose that match for you than anything else. Nobody is a fucking progamer in our pubs, nor are they your seasoned teammates, so everyone will make mistakes, you included.
Just focus on your duty, try to do your role, and try to play with the team, if that's what the gameplan dictates.
1º Buy the compendium and play only ranked roles.
2º Choose 2-3 strong heroes, that are high in the meta, and only play them
3º Play as you are playing alone, dont flame, and always try to carry the game on your back, even if your team is feeding.
A hero that works really well at mid-low lvl is wraith king.
He is strong in the lane, have an amazing mid game, and is ok late game.
Go safe and do blademail -> radiance, (sometimes blink)
^ he's asking how to get ancient, it helps if you're already there.
I'm still waiting for your response on my callout
am ? lol you can counter am with wk if u pick it wisely
basically your strategy is to wait for enemy to pick carry
then pick wk and let enemy pick am
ez game
@Heaven,
60% of the time, it works everytime.
The only way WK gets an advantage against AM is if he can hit level 20 before AM has manta and basher, if not it's GG if the AM is worth his salt.
as i said wk need strategic pick
if u pick wk mindlessly most of the times you will lose
AM is not really a counter, you can get online much faster, PL is much more annoying, he can drain you mana, and dodge stuns.
And obviously you have to consider the other team, its probably not very wise to pick WK against Invoker and KOTL.
Pick ursa jungle each and every game in order to gain ez mmr and climb up to ancient tier. P.S You're welcome.
Doing jungle against dual lanes is suicide.
You could get away with jungle on trilane meta because your carry/sup would usually win against the solo off lane.
If you jungle now, you will probably lose your safelane (against dual), you will lose you offlane, and probably lose mid because you wont have rotations.
BUT
Ursa carry works well, it's pretty good
Ursa works in any situation since he's considerably 'balanced' right now but since he was complaining about getting teammates who have nothing better to do besides whining and blaming each other every game, I feel like taking his hero to the jungle would still give him some sort of a chance as he wouldn't have to deal with his annoying teammates until at least the first 9-11 minutes because of that.
Dude, you cant expect blamers and ragers to mature, practice MID to solo carry your team.
watch clq aka road to redemption journey from like 2k to divine, it's pretty helpful to see how smurfs approach the games i think, there's plenty of videos from stream on yt
Get good in axe. No one will fight with u for an offlane role and axe counters most melee heroes. I meet a lot of jug players from 3.5k-4k mmr and axe owns him man.ez pzy.
PROWER is correct, that is exactly what I did. I played Zeus as mid, Pudge and WR as support, WK and Spectre as carries.
